Good Morning PSG Members and Prospective Members!

This Wednesday's 9am General Meeting will be hosted by Tom McCloud -
Operations Manager, Telecommunications Consultant

The Guest Speaker will be Cathy Wasserman, Director of Customized &
On-Site Training at the Support Center for Nonprofit Management for
over two years. She has more than 12 years of nonprofit experience. Cathy
is a trained clinical social worker and has also worked as a funder,
community organizer, program developer and manager, and youth
development and women's advocate. She trains, consults, and coaches
in human resources, interviewing, cover letter and resume writing,
getting started in the job search, communication, organization development,
conflict management, team building, and the practice of wellness in
the workplace.

Cathy's interactive presentation will provide PSG members with the
opportunity to explore their perceptions of the non-profit sector. We
will discuss both the differences and similarities between the non and
for-profit worlds and explore the increasingly blurred line between
the two.

----
Following the General Meeting will be a meeting of the Computer Group
members, led by Chair Gene Victori. Chris, Brian, Michael, Tom, Mike,
Bob, Harry, Jayne, Tom, Zandra, Al, Andy, Jeff, Janet - please plan on
attending or letting Gene or I know if you can't attend. It's very
important that we get together to discuss things so we know we are all
doing them the same way. As well, there is a good possibility that
our tech support rep Ginny will be here to discuss the change in computers
and software coming in April!

This Friday's 1pm Optional Class will be Intermediate Access led by
PSG Member Janet Wilhelm. There are currently 9 signed up to attend -
additional people interested can sign up on the column at the PSG
entrance. Optional class confirmations are sent out on Thursday to
let everyone know the status.

Welcome to our new Chairpersons!
***Opportunity Center Co-Chairs: Ann Loftus and Jim St. Angelo
(Ann and Jim will be visiting all of the shifts and helping the group
to work as efficiently and effectively as possible in our Op Center!)
***Instructor Co-Chairs: Judy Miao and Nancy Arduengo (Judy and Nancy will
be visiting our workshops to confirm we are running things similarly in
each class and to see where we can expand and grow topics)
Thanks in advance for cooperating with them and keeping things running
smoothly!

The Daily Record was not able to fit our article on "women and
the job hunt online" in this past Saturday's paper - but they do expect
it to run this Saturday, 3/29.

Attached is the Opportunity Center volunteer schedule for those
interested.

Be sure to use the tips we've learned from the last two Wednesday
meeting speakers to avoid procrastination and manage your time
effectively this week!
